The first version of vapman was made in Switzerland from the hands of the inventor René. Me and David teamed up with René to improve some details and so we released the new improved version at the end of 2021. Its all made in Italy from local olive wood and offers the following improvements:
- More space around the heating chamber so herbs no longer get stuck.
- The heating chamber is better protected and so vapman becomes more stable.
- The improved chimney effect results in better heat dissipation.
- Sleeker look.
- The lowered heating chamber makes the vapman easier to use.
- The layered mineral heat-protection on the classic is now integrated into the wood, for better protection especially on wet surfaces.

We added a stainless steel inlay to the middle piece that goes directly into the new mouthpiece; It makes us proud to say that vapman now features a stainless steel vapor path. (Thanks to the ingenious design, the stainless steel inlay and mouthpiece do not touch to prevent excessive heat transfer and thus build a thermal block.)
